Printing and distribution: a placeholder field guide

/ printing / distribution

Placeholder: printing and distribution

This is an editorial placeholder, not a report from a completed campaign.

Check one copy first

Choose the file and paper size together. Print at actual size when you need the supplied dimensions. Check text, contrast, margins and the artist’s credit strip before making a larger run. A DPI label alone does not establish that an image contains enough detail.

Match the material to the job

Try your paper, paste or sticker adhesive on an appropriate test surface. Ask the property owner for permission before displaying work. Plan how you will carry the materials and take away scraps.

Plan a safe session

Choose places you can reach and leave safely. Agree on the route with the people joining you, and avoid putting identifying information on a public print unless you intend to share it.

This draft needs practical review from people who print and distribute movement graphics.
